Dear Asbury Park, we love you.

Jersey gets shit (shitted?) on a lot, and while I get why... it def has some perks. One of them is called Asbury Park Beach, and what a cute little town it is. Those who follow me on Instagram know that I'm a sucker for colorful photogenic walls, and this beach did not disappoint. This cool beach has an initiative called "Sea Change" which brings local and global artists to paint the majestic walls you witness all over the boardwalk. Also, as if that wasn't enough, they are super supportive of the LGTB community, hosting a lot of events and concerts with and on their behalf to raise money for respective organizations.
This Fourth of July weekend, I took my mom and aunt to the beach with me and while the water felt like it was below zero, we still had a good time posing in front of artsy walls while getting roasted by the 90 degree weather and watching hot bods.

Because we arrived super early, we beat a lot of the madness. We were able to walk, relax and people watch without getting stepped on by 20 million people. This beach even has a cute mall in a historic building right by the water, so we even did a little shopping. Aside all the other reasons I listed above as to why I really loved this beach, this place has only one small area for kids, no other gaming area (at least not where we were) which means LIMITED STROLLERS AND TEENAGERS.

That's my powerful pose.

That grinning face belongs to "Tillie", which in a way is the park's mascot.

After eating oysters and other delicious things, we wrapped up the day by eating ice cream. Look at those happy faces.
