Sewing Project: Crossbody bag

This project took me way too long, which is what I get for saying it would be “simple” Will the bag fall apart? Maybe. Is the chain strap too flimsy? Def. But I learned a lot. I could always change the chain...I won’t... but I could. The pattern is part of my “Fanciful Tomorrow” collection. #14 on Spoonflower.

I sketched the form of the bag over and over trying to figure out the pieces I had to cut for this. For some reason I just couldn’t wrap my head around how to hide the seams with all those layers… so I mocked it up with paper first until I figured it out (pretty surprised tbh).
