Grilled Cheese with Strawberries on Top // Felt Toy

Inspired by conversations with my friend’s daughter, Emma, I decided to create this felt toy/bag for her upcoming birthday.
It was my first time making something with felt fabric. It end up being a lot more difficult that I thought it would be, but for a first time… I think it came out OK.
The most challenging part was trying to make the little bag with the cheese part, because it was so narrow, trying to sew it from the inside was difficult with such thick material. I had to sew by hand a lot of the corners that the sewing machine could not reach.
We’ll see what the Emma thinks!

The main pieces to create this “chunky” sandwich
